This is ridiculous. I'm wiggling and pulling straight down on the center dome light and it still refuses to come out. The whole damn dome fixture is wiggling, thats how much force i'm applying. I don't wanna squeeze to hard and shatter the bulb. I dont know if the dome is the same in all tCs but i have a 07. Anyone have any tips?

 

you're talking about the wedge ones right? just keep at it. the stock ones take a bit of force. keep a firm, but not overly hard grip on the bulb, and just pull hard. it'll come out.

 

Do I turn it at all? I am applying a lot of force. It's the center lightbulb in the front dome.

Just to compare how hard I'm pulling the bulb:

Imagine grabbing your left-pointer finger with your right-thumb and right-pointer and pulling as hard as you can until it hurts. That's how hard I'm pulling.

 

no turning or you'll turn the whole thing that holds the bulb in out. just wiggle it back and forth, and pull down. should come out. i did it on mine, and another person's, and it came out.

 

Just yank the hell out of it, it'll come out =D

 

Yanking the hell out of it worked. For future reference and anyone searching, Ozniums 25 LED Superflux LED Dome Light will fit if you shave the unit and break the separators in your dome.

 

i had the same problem u just need better grip, use gloves

 

You can wrap a rubber band around the bulb and it will giv you a good grip.......also I recomend Ozniums LEDs they are really bright.........
