Ok so I finished doing my full LED swap inside my car over to blue, and its definitely time to ditch the nasty blue head unit. I'm looking for one that looks nice, has ipod compatibility, and will also be compatible with my iphone which some have issues with I know. Any reccomendations of a head unit that will match my newly blue led insides, work with my iphone, and is under $500? DVD playback and all would be nice but isn't 100% necessary. Thanks in advance audio gurus

 

Check the Craigslist ads in your area. I got my avic D3 for 500 bucks and it works great with my iphone. If you're patient, a good deal will come up eventually.

 

I've got a Jensen VM9022 and the lighted buttons and screen background are blue. Not completely sure about iPhone compatability, but it does have Bluetooth and an iPod jack.

I bought it off of SonicElectronix for $400

And it doesn't even need to be grounded, there's just a bypass code that you can put in.
