Heated Steering Wheel
Man glad I never would have a need for a heated steering wheel, At first I laughed at the idea but then I got to thinking about it.. and you nerdo's can flame all you want.. But I freaking want a chilled shift ****!!! When the inside of your car is 160+F and your **** is aluminum OMG it sucks for a LONG time to drive. Now that is a mod I would pay some friggin cash for.

Makes no difference in Arizona man. Literally in the summer you can check the temp in car in the sun and it is around 160+F inside. And anything left in the sun that can melt will. Basically it is the same effect of turning your oven on 175F, put a shift **** in the oven for an hour, then try to hold it *LOL* no sock is gonna help in any way
I have these really cool Old Navy Ski gloves that I bought back in high school to go with my ski coat, which i frequently wear when no skiing. It serves a dual purpose, in the cold I can wear them for a few minutes while I drive and everything warms up, likewise, in the summer, I can throw the glove over the **** and drive.
In all seriousness ... I"m just gauging by what I found. Heated Steering wheel is a feature of the LExus LS series, meaning its high priced. I couldn't find any other Toyota with that feature/option. I also found some other forums of ppl asking about heating wheels and *****. The only real answer I found about the **** was to use one of those illuminated *****. Some of them have a "problem" witht he LED getting rather hot and heating up the ****, which isn't a problem with its 20-30 outside. Aside from that, it's basically a nno-market.
Inquire at a custom shop. You'd have to have provide a heating source, an element to run through the wheel itself, and a wheel that can handle the heating element within it... all the while keeping in mind if it gets too hot, it can and will melt and damage something. In my mind, I'm seeing a fire hazard practically sitting in your lap.
I unno man, gl

I just had a thought ... detachable wheel ... something .. I unno, aluminum would probably work ... and **** ... toss it in the over at a low temp for a couple minutes before you leave, then put everything on your car and go.
That's why they pay me the big bucks, lowtech ftw
