help a car audio noobie
hey all.
I used to have an Infinity Kappa Perfect setup in my car, before a thief broke into it and stole the sub and the amps.
So right now, I just have Infiniti Kappa Perfects 6.1 (specs here) for the front speakers and Infiniti 63.7i speakers (specs here).
Now, I know I want to get the Stealth Scion tC Side Mount SQ 10 Enclosure - Package ... Question: does that come with the 10" sub (SQ 10) ?
And also, how does the 1x SQ 10 compare to the 1x Infinity Kappa Perfect 10DVQ sub? (just a rough guess is fine, as long as it think is comparable or if the SQ10 is better) Kappa perfect specs: (10" 4-ohm Component Subwoofer Magnesium Metal Matrix (M3D) cone, rubber surround, Variable Q, 75-400W RMS power range, 25-400 Hz frequency response).
So, anyway.. going with the SQ10 as the sub, what amp is recommend that would power both my front component speakers and sub? I had to do 2 amps last time and would like to avoid that if possible. I think the nine.4 would work out great right?
And any creative ideas on where to put the amp? Since last time, I placed the amps in the area where the stealth enclosure is and the sub was in a box in the trunk.
Thanks all.. any rehaul of the system setup, feel free to post. I'm open to more suggestions or critiques

yes the enclosure comes with the SQ10, notice u can pick between single 2 ohm and single 4 ohm. comparing it to ur old sub depends on a number of things, the amp u were using to power the infinity, what you will power your new one with, what kind of enclosure was the infinity in. Power wise they are about the same. Each enclosure makes the subs sound different and its hard to tell what that enclure will sound like.
