i usually play hip hop (old school), some freestyle and a little bit of rock (green day, etc).

I am trying to play young jeezy- white girl and the remix and they sound horrible in my car but in my friends tc (stock hu) it sounds great. I tried your settings but it didnt make it better. I have my ipod set to bass reducer because the nasty sound is coming from its bass as well as all the other songs i cant play

 

ill try those songs later when i can. but did you also turn on your staging? i have mine set on living room. that actually helped alot too. i guess i forgot to take a pic of it. my bads!

 

I did try staging, I saw that dynamic theatre
worked best for me

 

theater has good highs, but really cuts out the bump imo. i was about to return my d3 cause it didnt have good lowend, but then i turned it to living room and it changed my mind. lol

 

ADRdesignCo, do you use an ipod? I havnt really tried cds.

 

i use my ipod about 99% of the time.. but then again i rip at 320kbps

 

i checked it out jay188. it sounds ok. it doesnt have that much dynamics in freq. so its kinda hard to tell, esp since its mostly bass. ill try to send you a song tonight, and try that.
