Default HELP with my subs

Setup:
2 Kicker CVR DVC 10" Subs
Power Acoustik 2600W AMP

I have a sound on all the time the amp is on.
It sounds like if they are constantly thumping at a low level, Even when the HeadUnit is OFF.
What can i do to fix this?
thanks

what headunit do you have? because there is no reason the amps should be getting a signal if your headunit is off

disconnect the stock sub. it sound like aweful anyways. your problem with the amp is that the remote wire is not connected correctly. It should be connected to the remote/amp wire on the back of the head unit. If it is staying on, you have it connected to a constant 12v source.

you just answered your own question. you have the remote cable connected to the cigarette lighter, meaning that the amp will be powered on any time power is supplied to the cigarette lighter (ACC power). This is incorrect. You need to have it connected to the remote wire on the back of the headunit; meaning that the amp will now only be powered on when the headunit is on.
