Ok guys I was given a pair of Kove KC 61 component speakers for my TC. My dilemma is I am not sure what size amp to get to power these bad boys. I think I want to get a 4 channel amp so that when I upgrade my rear speakers I don't have to purchase another amp. The speakers have 125W @ 4ohms stamped on the back of them. What would be a good size amp to push these speakers?

Do they have a RMS power range stamped on them? I believe you want to go with this number more than the watts peak power number.

 

No RMS listed on it all it says is 125w 4ohms. So I am not sure to by a 400 or 500 4 channel amp or what.

 

I would just get a decent 75-100 watt amp and set your settings.
Should be no problem
