Hey guys, today when i stopped by a friends house i went to lock my doors with the keyless (stock tC dealer alarm) and it will NOT lock the doors or activate the alarm. I have no idea why it is doing this and it just happened today. Does anyone know what i should do? Please, any help would be great. thanks

Not sure why that's happening either but I would recommend you take your tC to the dealer, it should be covered under warranty.

 

Maybe you'll get some help in the ICE & Interior forum....go to the dealer.

Yeah, the red light is lit when i press it in. The alarm itself works, but it does not respond to the controller. I hate going to the dealer though >< damn it. if anyone knows what is up please let me know

 

Check to make sure your Hatch is closed all the way. And make sure nothing obstructs the doors (rags, wires, mats, etc.). If a door is not closed all the way, the alarm will not arm.

 

I bet teh battery is ded on the Keyless remote.
