yea get it off of limewire or itunes even if ya don't think you'd like the CD. just play that one song crazy loud and you'll hear what i mean. the Dayton loves fast double bass kicks. it'll keep up with anything. i love tryin to find a song it won't accurately play. haven't found one yet that it can't keep up with. :-)

Yea man... and it hits REALLY low for me... and it'll probably go even lower when it breaks in further. This 10 hits harder than my friend's 2 12's IMO

Haha, well you run a 15 don't you? lol... I'm sure it couldn't outdo a 15, but I know it realllllly shakes my car goooooood. And the best part, from the outside, you can't even tell that it's going crazy inside! Deadening the doors was an awesome way to kill the exterior noise Has anyone deadened the trunk lid yet? I wanna do the whole trunk area if it isn't too hard to cut down on the sub vibrations.

Trials you should just get a XXX or something huge lol... I'm sure you'd be one of the loudest tC's then

I have a single 12". I had the 15" FI BL in there but the box was toooo huge. The XXX is to expensive for my blood. If they kept the old price it would have been good. But now selling it at almost 3x the price....no go.

When it gets warm I will want to deaden the car. Finish my active front stage, get a new subwoofer(s), new amps (alpine 1.1000 and 4.600).
But I want to go with 2 8s, or a single beefy 10.

I hate taking apart the hatch plastics, I took it apart to mount the reverse camera....PITA.

Oh for the trunk lid? Damn... I really wanted to deaden that :-\

I'll have to see what it'll take I guess. But yea, the XXX's are crazy money, but oh well, like you said, two 8's or a high end 10 would be nice, I know it does it for me

I want to get that Lightning Audio X1.10.VC2 but I dont want to spend post tc sound price. It has a beefy motor and a ton of xmax.

I just want to go small and make a very nice box and surprise people making them think I have more than what it is.

Hahaha, I'm so sorry man! Supposedly I was going to my dad's house tomorrow to pick up some stuff so I was gonna take pics in the nice garage, but since it's gonna get snow, sleet, freezing rain here, that's not happening, so tomorrow I'll just take pics here in my driveway!

Again, so sorry lol... believe me, I want you to see it just as much as you do! lol

I need to show someone who actually gives a crap about this stuff!

i see. . lol

yea i would love to see pictures. i'm really interested to see what the box looks like and how that came out. also i am interested to see how you positioned the sub. have you tried moving it around and facing it different ways? mine is off to the left side facing to the right, this sounds the best and has the most output in my install.

you still like it all? have any detailed review of the sub and amp combo for us?

Yea I could put something together reviewing all the products I used and their pros/cons. The amps are really spectacular IMO, being able to have them right next to eachother and hardly warm to the touch when blasting is really a feat, I think.

And yea I have my sub on the driver side firing toward passenger, sounds reallllly good. And I set the crossovers today to like 51/63 and I reallllllly like it! It's not as peaky and it blends extraordinarily! I'll have pics tomorrow, swear

well tomorrow get some pics, and make a new thread. post the pics along with a small review of everything. i would really like to hear in detail what you think of it all.

and see.... 50hz for the sub and 63hz for the comps is i think gonna be your best compromise of output and still getting things to blend and having your bass sound like it's in front of you.

Yea I think you're right. Though I still like the bass to be pronounced, so I might boost it a dB or 2 on the HU for that extra umph over the comps... still can't tell whether I like reversed polarity or normal though... it's sooo hard to tell the difference, but I think reverse is more on time with the fronts, I THINK lol
