Default Help with TC sub and amp?

Hey guys this is my first time upgrading a cars audio system so sorry for being so clueless. This is what I have so far let me know if it's wrong or I'm missing something. I'm using Amazon because I got a $250 dollar gift card Adding $250 myself out of pocket.

Stereo - Pioneer DEH-1300MP

Equalizer - Clarion EQS746

Sub- Kicker CompVR or Kicker 10C124

Amp - Boss Audio R1100M or Pyramid PB717X

Install kit - Boss Kit-2

My Pioneer head unit is busted which is why I'm buying a new stereo. I know it's a very small budget but I'm making due with what a broke college guys got. Plan to add a second 12 inch sub later and upgrade as I go. Thanks!

I have always recommended going onto crutchfield.com to get reviews of everything, see what other people have used and like and then make your purchase off of that. The Kenwood KAC-9105d isn't a bad amp at all, pushes 900@2 ohms and they offer refurbished ones starting at 149.

From the looks of it, you should have everything you need to get it up and running. You don't necessarily need the equalizer right away and can manage without it for the time being. If you can get an amp and sub that you will not need to upgrade or something that won't put you back too much if you were to upgrade. Don't forget a box for the sub and all.

Really appreciate all the help. A friend of mine said he could fix up my Pioneer head unit so if it works I plan to pick up the KAC-9105d and get two Kicker 10C124 off Amazon.

No problem. If you can get your old Head unit to work again I would assume that you will need a LOC for your audio signal. I am not too sure about the stock head unit having any pre-amp outputs. Gotta double check on that. That amp on those subs would be over kill as well. Always go off of rms as well, never peak watt!

Hmm so would the Kenwood KAC-8105D be enough to power two of those? For $99 I'd rather pick that one up. If the factory unit will be a problem I'll just pick up the unit I posted up top and save myself the headache.

Either that one or the kac-7205. Can't go wrong with either for the subs you are pushing.
