Default Help with Upgrades and Car Audio..

I'm looking for info about what kind of upgrades I should get for my Alpine 500 watt RMS amp and Orion dual 4 ohm speaker in a ported box. I have a pretty cheap head unit and Rockford Fosgate 6.5" 3 way speakers in the doors. I'm replacing the back 6.5s with Kenwood and adding Scosche 6x9 speakers as well.
All together I think the total RMS with all the pair or speakers is about 160-180. Should I power each speaker to the stock amp or should have a 4 channel and run each one separate? And any advice on Equalizers? I have a 12 in 1.3 cu foot ported box at about 40 hz with the gain a little under half and the bass boost at about 4.

What should I tune my Orion XTR 12" to?? I like the quaking low bass and this doesn't produce that.

What to do?

Is your Alpine Amp Mono or 2 channel? First you want to make sure its 2 ohm stable bridged or Mono. if it is, wire your Orion DVC 4 ohm in parallel to achieve a 2 ohm load at the Amp. In my opinion, you will not need the extra set of 6x9's. especially Scosche brand. I have a simple setup, factory Scion Head Unit to
an Audiocontrol 3.1, and then to a Hifonics Zeus ZRX2416.1d Mono Amp, to one JL Audio 12w3v2 Dual 4 ohms wired in parallel to 2 ohms in a sealed 1.25 cubic ft box. And I'm still using the factory door and rear panel speakers powered by the stock Scion Head Unit. I've had this setup in multiple cars and it has never sounded this good!

Another thing to consider is the subwoofer box size. Is it built to Orion spec? Or just one off the shelf? My next sound upgrade would be to replace the deck with a touchscreen and add a four channel Amp (at least 100 RMS x4 or higher), and I was thinking of going with
the Infinity Kappa components up front and coaxials in the the rear panels, and if I can find one I'd like to add another JL Audio 12w3v2 Dual 4 ohms so i can achieve a 1 ohm load altogether. If I cant find a matching sub, then I may just upgrade to two DVC 15's.
