Default System advice, help needed.

Ok, so my setup right now is:

Headunit: Eclipse CD3100

Speakers: 300 Watt Memphis audio components in front, stock pioneers in back

Amp: 1200 watt sony xplode

I have 2 12 inch subs my friend let me borrow, but my question is... can I run my speakers and subs off this 2 channel amp?

If not, would my front speakers powered up enough to run just off the headunit? Right now my gains on my amp are barely even turned up. If i can't run them both, I might just run the subs off the amp and keep the speakers powered by the headunit, but just wanted advice on which route would be the best.

Agreed, just use the amp for the subs. I have my speakers run off the stock unit and then my 10" on an amp, and the speakers are plenty loud. Since the stock unit can power the speakers, I'm positive that you can run the speakers off an aftermarket unit no problem.

EDIT: Plus to get the most out of your sub, you would need to use the LPF function on the amp which would take any decent sound out of the other speakers.
