Default Help wiring from door into car

Hey guys, I recently did a "puddle light" mod where I have LED lights that light up under my door when I open it. Its all done, but I can't cleanly wire the wires inside the car. i know there is the rubber sleeve from which the wires run into the car, and I can drill a hole there and push the wires through. I am just afraid that once I put my wires into the hole of the rubber sleeve, I wont be able to push them through to the interior. I'm afraid they will just get stuck somewhere.

What's a good way to do this properly?

What I did for mine was pulled off the grommits and cut off the super long sleeves. Made it way easier. As far as it getting stuck somewhere the wires come out right above the top of the kick panels. Shouldn't get stuck anywhere.

one of the best ways, and probably the safest, is to get a long ziptie and use that to pull the wires through with. we sell them at home depot up to 2-3 feet long, anything over 1 foot should work. just poke the ziptie through, secure the wire to that, and pull it back in. easy as that.

coat hangers, thin pieces of plastic, etc etc all work also. im sure you have something lying around that could get the job done.

That's exactly how I do my tricky wiring! Good tip!
