Default HID's and Sound System?

Ok guys, here is what i am planning on doing. I have a pioneer 1400 dvd headunit right now. I am planning on getting new after market speakers (not amping, running off new headunit) and a sub with mono amp. I have also ordered new healight housing with HID beams. I have heard a lot about lights dimming from sound systems without HID beams. With the combination of the two, will i need a capacitor, new or extra battery or will i be fine without doing either as far as light dimming and audio cutting out goes. or is there another solution that i am not thinking of to make sure neither of those happen?

Youll be fine with an OEM battery. How old is the one you currently have? Older than 5 or 6 years I would say time for a new one anyway.

I bought the car used so im not for sure. but by the looks of it, it seems original to me. So no extra battery but possibly just a new one. what about a capacitor?

Totally unnecessary. I was running 1300W on an OEM battery for over a year with HIDS and never had any dimming problems. Youre better off investing in a deep cycle battery than a capacitor.

i dont know about mosts opinions but to me capacitors are garbage and never helped when i tried to run one (i'm now running 2 batteries but also running 2500 watts between 3 amps) but you should be fine with what minimal power you'll be using
