high output alternator
i email the guys over at Ohio generators about a high output alternator for a 2006 scion tc. After waiting about 6 months they responded to my request. Here is what they said:
Hello,
I apologize for the delay in your quote. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to make the alternator for your specific vehicle.
However, you may be able to add on one of our 220amp alternators in addition to your current one.
The current price for this set up is $529 give me a call if you would like to discuss this further.
WE CURRENTLY ACCEPT ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS !!!!!!!!!

Any reason for an HO alternator other than running a serious stereo setup? Is there any quality difference between that and stock? Adding a second alternator really doesn't sound like a great plan if there is any way around it.
