Default hooking up coaxal to in dash dvd?

I have an in dash dvd player, it would be pretty easy to hook up a ps2 or ps1 or what not, but what is the best way to hook up an old system like a NES that doesn't use rca's but has coaxal instead? I'm pretty sure at six flags last year someone had an nes hooked up.

I'd need a converter for coax to rca but I can't find one anywhere.

They used to make a RCA hook up for the SNES. but that was long ago. Not sure if they fit each other.

you are looking for an RF modulator. you can pick on up at radioshack for like 20 bucks. but the thing is that it runs on 120vAC not 12VDC so you will have to run a power inverter for it as well. as far as specifically NES, the original NES has RCAs on it. most systems do (at least NES on up). the only problem i could see would be with the sega genesis, but i am not too sure about the outputs on it. good luck! and if all else fails get a hacked xbox. lol

radio shack doesn't sell that stuff anymore, i've been to a few and asked. and yeah I know about the power inverter.

I found the rca hookup for the snes on some web site.. for like 5 bucks so thats not a problem, didn't know the nes had one tho.

and think about it.. what good is having a xbox or ps2 in you rcar, when you will really only play it for a couple minutes at a time, you'll never get anywhere in a game that way, i'd much rather fire up a classic game like mario for a few minutes.

get an original xbox, mod it with XMBC put in a 250HDD put on an emulator for NES, SNES, Genisus, and dreamcast, along with your xbox games, some music and a few movies... then stuff all the components under your center console (not in the xbox case obviously) and mold the dvd drive into the waterfall in the cubby under the HU....

err i mean...

you can softmod an xbox really easily and a ton of roms will fit on the stock HD, that's what I did. It took like 10 minutes to mod it.

well, the other problem is I don't have an xbox, and i'm trying to do this pretty cheap.. i just want to play some classic snes games, thats all.

I got the snes apart, but I just can't figure out where to mount the damn circut board.. without removing the part you plug the game into.
