Default Hooking up components

Whats going on, I spent an hour searching for diy's but nothing with the question I have. When I hook up my components, what wires will I be using? I'll have the amp, an amp wiring kit, and the components and tweeters. will I just be using the wires from the amp kit instead of the factory wires? from the amp, speaker wires go to the input on the x-over, then speaker wires from the x-overs to the comps and tweets right??? and then the rca cables going to my headunit and that should be it?? that would just cancel out the factory wires which I will have no need for or am I thinking this wrong??? Just ordered all my stuff today and want to do it myself but just never done components before, only subs.

I'm getting the hifonics comps, and hifonics amp which will power the speakers 220W each. Already have the aftermarket headunit.

Thanks

ok, RCA wire from Head unit to amp.
Remote turn on wire is from Head unit to amp.
Speaker wires are from Amp to crossover. then more speaker from cross to mids and tweeters.
You won't be needing factor speaker wires.
