Default Hooking up rca to the oem bazzoka sub

I don't know if this has been posted before I couldn't find anything but,

has anyone put rca ends on the speaker lines in the harness for the stock sub ? if so would the 6.5 volt of my preout be too much power ? and can I do just left or right or would I have to use both ?

I want to use the oem sub and amp for now with my Aftermarket deck.

The VSE 10" bazooka sub doenst need any type or extra wiring even if you are getting an aftermarket radio.

The 10" sub piggybacks the radio wiring harness.
You plug your factory radio harness into the bazooka plug, then your aftermarket radio plug into the bazooka.
Might sound a little strange but once you get in there you will see what I mean

I wish I would have taken a pic when I put mine in.

If your talking about the 6.5" sub I have no idea

this is true.

I think you're just going to have to get an amp if you want to be able to use the sub control from the deck and tune the subs differant from the fronts. Thats the main reason I took the factory sub out

well i tired to swap out the factory sub with a polk sub and man it sounded terrible.
Then I put an amp to it and it still sounded bad

I got a seperate box for the polk and it was way better than any of those set ups.

I wanted to keep the factory sub enclosure for the look and fit but I coudnt get it to sound anywhere close to good.
