How do i disable auto dim on HU when i turn on headlights

I have a Pioneer P4000DVD

At night when i turn on my head lights it goes into auto dim... How do i disable that?

it's actually for your saftey, although there should be an auto dim wire in the harness.

there should be a "day/night" mode option somewhere in the menus. try turning the unit off then going into the menu.. it might be there. once you find it, switch it and then i think itll stay on.

Got this right out of the manual:
Adjusting the dimmer
To prevent the display from being too bright at night, the display is automatically dimmed when the car’s headlights are turned on. You can turn the dimmer on or off.

will update you on the how to when i get off work and do it
