Default how do you make a shift boot for auto??

well i saw a couple of tc's online that are auto but have a shift boot. how to i convert mine like that? any special things i need to but? any feedback will be appriciated thanx

^^ actually no.. i know that guy...

he has an auto with a shift boot. he was referring to the install being easier than the one posted.

hmm.. i would ask him though how he put it in. i dunno myself.

he bought a shiftboot form a tc. and put it in. cause thats what i did !

^^ exactly. theres a break down on how to take apart that part of the center console. and theres another post here where you take off the piece that has the P R N D 3 2 L.. so you could put the shiftboot there instead of the that piece and then find a way to stick it to the ****.

so basically to do all this u just need to buy a oem shift boot from toyota or ebay and just install that? is there any were else i can get that boot?

umm you could any shiftboot. just have to some fabrication.. i mean i ordered mine from my dealership.. and it cost me $50.. a bit steep but ehh.. i think you could get one from myscionparts.com its not that hard.. i got it from my dealership cause it was the easiest install and it fits perfectly.. and i wouldnt ahve to do any fabrication..
