how far does the sub magnet need 2 B from the opposite wall?
How far does the magnet on a sub need to be from the back of the sub wall? is 1" enough?
Also, this box is going to be 0.5 cu ft....is polyfill necessary?
thx!

more like yes and not really ( I bet you will not hear any difference if you had fill in the box or not - but then again, it's not like it is expensive to do so the real answer is it doesn't really matter, whatever makes you feel good )
it is a memphis Power Reference 10" SVC sub...
will be powered by a memphis amp also....250w...
it's for a floor enclosure...
How much poly fill? enough to just cover the back wall? there won't be much room!

I have not ever been a fan of polyfill..... But I would try to get at least 1/2"away from the wall up to 3/4" if you can..... Some subs will recomend 3/4" for the speaker to vent properly, almost all JL Audio subs do...
yeh it recommends a .5 cu ft enclosure for sealed...
I even confirmed that with the memphis dealer here in town...
Thanks so much for the answers! I really appreciate it!
