You can put a very LIGHT coat of clear over the satin black to protect it. Even though it does not have a flattening agent in it it will still appear satin black.

Satin black: http://www.touchupspraypaint.com/pro...php?prod=AM210

Think his pictures are on page 1 or 2.

Oh okay thanks! Im going to order everything tonight. Found out i got my old job back so time to spend some money. Bought the adhesion promotor and now the paint. Gotta find a website that sells the clear coat you use.

Is the duplicolor sandable primer okay or should i just find a website of the primer you use.

DUDE your doing BSP and Galactic Grey?! It's gonna look so good, its gonna blow your mind. It's a great color combination, plus Kennon just does an absolutely amazing job.

Just don't rush the process because I didn't realize how meticulous and painstaking slow the process is until I saw Kennon do it. It takes forever! But the product is entirely worth it.

My pix are on page 1!

^Wish more people would understand that. That's why I don't do anymore Scion work.

Plus they always try to talk down the price.

Sandable...but don't coat it on. Spray it on randomly.....like the close up picture of the gauge bezel on page 1.

I only know because I was chill'n there watching as you painted. Such a slow process, especially with multiple power outages

Well I hope you stick to the scion painting business because I'm gonna need someone to paint my RS1 lip when I scrap together enough money to get one!

Yeah i noticed that you just sprayed it randomly. Just ordered the bulldog adhesion promoter, and the 2k clear.

Since ill be doing the satin black in the middle of the waterfall, which do you recommend doing first. The outside or the inside.

Spray the inside first, let it dry, tape it off, spray outside, let it dry (I didn't), then clear. Just like on page 1.

Any questions...text me @ (949)295-1653 or kennonmills on AIM (pertains to everyone). Be sure to let me know who I am talking to.

Did you find it easy to do? Did you follow step by step? Got any bigger pictures?

ill post more pics in a little. I followed it step by step. I used all automotive duplicolor except the primer. it took a can and a half. I had a lot of pits in my pieces that I sanded and the result is amazing. imo and my friends, this looks 1000x better than the red. I didnt use any adhesive promoter and used krylon and not duplicolor. The only part that was hard to paint was the gauges. Im bad at DIY but this was easy easy to follow. had it printed out next to me.

thats as big/clear as my cell phone will take. let me know if you want pics of anything else.

I have major overspray on the black vents in the middle. There was already red overspray from the first time. Im going to try to buy the middle piece or ill just paint it black.
