I was wondering what kind oh HID kit you had? I just installed my HID's and it came with fuses on the wiring harness that leads to the positive post of my battery. I think you should be able to go to any auto parts store and get a small fuse box and fuse to splice into the wiring of yours. My fuse for my kit was 20. Some more specifics about the kit and who is installing might be helful also.

You want to put one of these into the power lead coming from the car to the HID kit..... slap a fuse in and you're good to go.

The HID wiring harness should have a positive (red usually) and negitive (black usually) wire that connects to the +/- posts on the battery. Now go to auto zone, shucks, radio shack, napa, or any car stereo store and tell them what you are doing and that you need a fuse holder. As long as the people are compitent at the store they should know what you need. If you go to a car stereo store any installer should know what you need and should also be able to answer any questions. It should be a relatively inexpensive item. Now with the wiring harness DISCONNECTED from the battery, cut the positive wire a few inches down from were it connects to the battery. Now you should have two seperate ends. These ends should connect into the open ends on the fuse box. Put the two ends of the cut wire into the sides of the fuse box and crimp the wires to the fuse box. Now place a fuse in the holder it should be a 20 (mine is yellow) or about that number on top of the fuse. Now connect the wiring harness to the the ballests and the ballasts to the ignitor and HID bulb. Plug the HID bulbs into the headlights. Make sure that the lights are in the off position in the car. Now reconnect the positive and negative ends of the wiring harness to the battery and tighten down making sure the connection to the battery is good and snug. Now check all other connections making sure that they are connected correctly and that no wires can get cought on anything. Zip ties are your friend and should be used to hold lose wires in a safe place away from hot areas and moving parts of the engine. Now start the car and then turn on the lights. Most HID bulbs need to "burn in" so leave the car on and the lights on for atleast ten minutes before you turn them off. This is a good time to take a trip around the block. Also do NOT quickly turn your lights on and off, this may shorten the life of your ignitor. Good luck I hope this helps and if you have any other questions just ask.
