I need help!!!
Turns out where one of the speakers is was loose, so the plastic was rumbling makin it sound all weird... but it still dont got no bass... so imma go with a 2 infinity perfect dvq's
^^ did you check your crossovers on the amp?? they may be HPF'd too high causing the bass to be blocked out...
you should have the HPF set around 50-60....
do you mean DVC's?? there's no reason to get dual voice unless you need them to achieve the correct ohm load at your amp....

Hey Zod....
Is this the amp you have?

I'm getting tons of bass from the front speakers (eD 6500s components)
Are your speaker the Kappa Perfect Components?
The Kappa comps have...
If this is what you have I would...
1. Check the connections from your woofer to crossover and tweeter to crossover.
2. Check the tweeter attn. to make sure it's not on high.
3. Check the cross over on your amp. For the front channel set it to around 60Hz (the 9 o'clock position)
Mine will make soooo much bass up front that it will put your left leg to sleep.

The 2-way crossover system feature a high/low pass 3500 Hz filter at a super-steep 24 dB / octave for accurate response and includes tweeter attenuation for user-selectable optimization.

ok, you'll need an amp that does 700-1000 watts x1 @ 1ohm... yes, anything over 700 is over RMS for those subs, but as long as the gains are set properly and you don't max out test tones for more than 3 seconds at a time, you should be just fine....
i have that same deck man. I love it. It took quite a bit of tinkering to get the sound just right...I was stoked that it had an equalizer instead of "BASS/TREBLE"....I had to play a lot to get the sub I had thumpin' good......I had to actually turn the "volume levels" of all the door speakers waaaay down and raise the volume of the sub...i had a horrible time getting bass at first as well....but that fixed it.
I forget how to get to the menu but it has a pic of the car basically with 4 speakers and a sub and lil numbers next to each one showing the ratio of loudness....play with that and the equalizer and I bet you have your solution...it worked for me. hope this helps.

thx skizzle ill check that out... I havent put in the sub woofers yet because i want the proper amp... so if i got this amp from JBL : BPX500.1
Mfg Model: BPX500.1
500 Watt Parallel/Bridge Subwoofer Amplifier with Dynamic Bass Optimization Circuit.
500 Watt Subwoofer Amplifier
General
CEA Rated yes
Power Output 237 watts RMS x 2 channels at 4 ohms
and ≤1% THD + N
718 watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms,
14.4V supply and ≤1% THD + N
would this amp be best for the 2 10 inch infinity dvq ???
Also OneLiterPeter, i got this amp for the front and back components... CEA Rated Yes
Power Output 111 watts RMS x 4 channel at 4 ohms and ≤ 1% THD + N 278 watts RMS x 2 channel at 4 ohms, 14.4V supply and ≤ 1% THD + N
Signal-to-Noise Ratio 81dBA (reference 1 watt into 4 ohms)
Dynamic Power 164 watts at 2 ohms
Effective Damping Factor 6.315 at 4 ohms
could the amp be why it doesnt produce bass? my hz is at 80 or somethin on crossover cuz i cant change it lower from the headunit.

That JBL amp will work fine with those infinity's.... you'll have to wire them in series/parallel to get a 4ohm mono load...
turn the crossover on your mids/highs amp to "through" or "all-pass".... that will give you the 80Hz and under that you're missing

i was trying to fit my system in, but anyways, for your speakers, and for most infinity speakers they take about a month to fully break in, i had the infinity kappa 6.35i (3 way , 6.5 inch) in the back of my corolla being pushed with an alpine cda-9827, the deck i had, came with a 4v preamp output, so after a month, when i sat in the back seat of my car i noticed that it had alotta bass, anyways if you have a good deck you wont need a subwoofer (in my opinoin), but if you like super deep bass you might need to get a subwoofer, to hear that extra punch, i totaled my corola and luckily im getting a tc, and throwing in my setup next week: (super excited)
