Default I NEED HELP! NEED NEW AIRBAG/STEERING WHEEL

so long night out, horrible luck, all 4 tires wrecked.
i am getting that squared away right now, but I need help with my airbag.
the steering wheel one blew and the one beneath it, the guy said going to the dealer will cost way too much.
can anyone here repair it asap? or know of any place i can take it to for a good price?
i really need help.
i am in the Orange County, CA area.
thanks!

My understanding is you can change out the bags fairly easy, you should be able to find then cheap on Ebay,I see them all the time.

Problem is can the shop reset the airbag computer to kill the code thtat they went off and accept the new ones.I know dealerships have the ability to reset the airbag code.

not covered under warrenty........airbags do not go off very often without a reason, from the sounds of things in your post there was a reason, the knee bag is also available on ebay quite often........they come out of junked cars........and the junk yards part them out and make a bundle of money off them.

they I beleive need replaced as well.....If you have insurance it may end up cheaper having them pay to fix it and just pay your deductable.

Does anyone know how much it is at the dealer to completely repair the airbags? It's sunday, everyone is closed. I really want to know what I'm getting into, no surprises. Thanks
