i ruined the cubby hole light
ok so i got a blue led bulb for the cubby...and someone had said in another post that they had pulled it out with plyers.....so i did that and it just ripped out the bulb, like not the base of it. so i take the hvac compartment off to see if the base would come out and it did with wires taped into it. and i have no idea of fixing it lol any help on what i should do
umm...yeah. no pliers needed. Just pull it with your fingers (Don't pinch it!).
Could you take a pic of what you're talking about? I have a feeling you ripped up the connector and all, but a pic would allow us to help you better.

my fingers are too big to stick my hand in the cubby and pull it out......im saying when u look in threw the back there are two wires running to whatever it is (the base) that the actually bulb goes into
when i changed mine out, i pulled the carpet away carefully from the passenger-side and reached in and felt around for the base of the plug and twisted it and then pulled it out. took out the stock bulb, slipped the new blue one in and then inserted the plug/bulb back into its home, twisted it to secure and then put the carpet back in place with the little clip and was done.
i had bought the whole interior leds for my car and installed everything without a problem until it came to the cubbyhole...
at first, i thought i bought the wrong size (the T1.5) and i was told that it was the right one.
so whatever...what im thinking is that when i FINALLY swapped my cubby hole light
(it took my about 2 hrs cause it got lost inside the HVAC thing and i took my a good while to find something that small)
the bulb juss comes off while the base is still connected to the wires.
then thats when u connect ur led.
i had a problem cause it wouldnt work at first but then started wiggling it and it worked.
so now im happy=)
