i use to have a pioneer deck until i sold it recently, so now when i tried to install my stock headunit i cant plug in my infinity basslink. when i had my pioneer deck all i had to do was plug it in with my rca cable i beleive. now for some reason i cant plug it in my stock headunit. some plzzz help me out, music without bass REALLY DOES SUCK!!! is there somesort of special wire that i need?
there should be speaker-level input wires with plug-in harness included in the original packaging of the basslink. This allows you to wire the basslink using speaker wires in the event your deck doesn't have RCAs
yeah he is right there should be a high level input harness that is long enough to run up to the head unit. It also has auto sensing so it will tun on and off automatically if you don't hook up the remote turn on.
Or if you want get that part that tCeeJay linked to and yo can hook that up behind the radio and just plug the RCA's into that. The step down's or line level converters can also be found at any audio shop.
