eather you dont have the arms sitting in the kit right... or no offence... but it most likely a cheaper kit.... and you will have to just kinda bend it a little when you put it in to get the mounting holes to line up...

run a test fit and see if everything lines up right. I am no professional installer, but i have done ALOT of intalls in my day.

USUALLY, when something doesnt look right, means it isnt right, but from this pic its hard to tell how everything is going to line up....

but first and foremost: did you read the instructions?

it looks like you might have to bend the bottom brackets, and i dont have very good luck with bending plastic...... SNAP!

good luck :D

theres a few tabs that you have to break off, that kit is made for the xa xb and tc.. the instructions should show which ones to break off... but like everyone else said test fit and go from there

on the stock HU there are 3 connectors that plug into the back of it...when i install my aftermarket HU there are only 2 plugs for the wiring harness... does that mean that the 3rd plug is the AUX input for the stock HU and i can just leave it as be and not plug it into anything?

if you have an 06 or newer the third plug is for the steering wheel controls. you'll need the PAC module to make them work again.

ok where can i get one of those? I went to pac-audio.com but i came up with nothing....

how do you mount the HU in the installation kit where its not so loose?
because i have the brace clipped in there but i feek like the HU will pop out if i slam on the brakes (and its not tight fit at all...)

lastly, what does the blue wire from the reciever and the blue wire from the wiring kit plug into?
The tag on the blue wire from the HU says Control Remote on it...

that is the connector on the HU wire but the installation wire is just wire with no connector....
