Everytthing works, bypass works fine, but i have no AM radio..what did i miss? any help...

It happened to me too a while back when I installed my eclipse cd3000. FM worked, but not AM. Get a booster. I tried swapping it out for 2 different ones, but it wasn't the radio. I put back in the stock, and it worked fine. I now have an avn5435 from eclipse and it works. I couldn't figure it out. I'd just boost it.

 

Have you checked all of the wires, it might just be that the antenna plug is out, and if its not that, AVIC411.com is a pretty useful resource

 

well the atenna is because my FM works...just not AM

 

it might not be all the way in, idk, i'm just trying to think of everything, if you're sure it isn't the antenna, then check the plugs.

 

its all good..i never use AM anyways, but im waiting for the day somone is like, hey dan turn on the yankee game lol and i cant because no AM.

 

You never need it until you need it, if that makes sense, i kinda just came up with that, I'm sure its come from somewhere else though. I'm one of those people that likes to have every option, though i only use one or two options out of the eight or so available.

 

Well its probably better that you wont have to listen to the Yank's blowing leads anymore this year....lol. GO SOX!

 

am is about 98% talk around dfw. I lost am when I put my radio in. just kinda laughed about it

 

I wouldn't even know if mine had it or not. Haven't ever tried to use it.
