I bought my 2007 Scion tc almost a year ago, and over the summer I decided to install a new 12" sub in the box. It's my very first "mod" to a car (and I even had a buddy help me out a bit), so it's nothing fancy, but I'm really proud of it. I decided to take some pictures and get an opinion from the scion community on it. I've just recently begun reading this site more and wanted to share my install.

Closeup of the amp wiring. I had to cut the foam insert that came with the car to fit the amp snug in there, but it works wonderfully.


Wiring hidden between sub box and backseat. Can't even notice it when the sub is in place.


This is the **** that came with the amp to adjust the bass levels. My friend and I couldn't figure out where to put this, but once we noticed these switch panels being unused, we cut a hole in the middle and the **** fit perfectly. A little glue and your done!

gotta love that feeling u get when u accomplish stuff. the wiring is a lil messy, but i like the location of the amp. and real creative on the bass ****, props man! nice work.
