Installing LOC - 2 Channel.
Hey everyone. I have just purchased a sub, amp and LOC.
.
I was looking at another post:

And pulled this quote out.
I am a little confused by this and probably over thinking it. My first assumption is to mount the LOC near the HU as all the speaker wires converge there. This means I run the RCA cables back to the amp.
Anyone with experience have a suggestion for this?
Looking at the '05 electrical guide (162-163 audio system.pdf), I pulled this out.
RR+ = Red
RR- = White
RL+ = Brown
RL- = Yellow
Therefore, wire the LOC:
R Channel+ to Red
R Channel- to White
L Channel+ to Brown
L Channel- to Yellow
Hope this all makes sense
Thanks!
I think I answered most of my questions writing this, but oh well. All comments are appreciated.

you just tap into the LR +/- and RR +/- speaker wires for a high low converter

Yep, that all looks right. The LOC from my experience is usually installed next to the headunit, and is a perfectly good way to do it. Just make sure you dont run the RCA cables and the power cables down the same side of the car.
Good luck with the install and let us know how it goes.
