Installing LOC help
ill be installing a system into a 07 scion tc this week for a friend. ive done about 8 installs now and im familiar with everything i just got a couple questions about the wiring in these cars.
Im gonna be using a PAC-SNI35 loc converter http://www.mobilcaraudio.com/catalog...160/983991.htm
which speaker are most people using in these cars?
also on the remote wire, what are you guys using also?

I've hooked up the LOC into the rear speaker outputs and ran it to the sub's amp since I don't use rear speakers in my car. The front is more than enough for imaging. Then I've tapped into the ignition lead for the remote for a switched 12 volt source. If you look around, you can find a wiring schematic on a PDF file in this forum.

yeah, I disconnected the rears since I don't use them in my system (for music)... I actually use my rear speakers for my bluetooth... the sound from my phone comes thru the rear speakers, while a mic next to my shifter picks up my voice...

Also, I'm pretty the factory sub receives its signal from the front speakers.

Unfortunately, I never had the factory sub, so I can't contribute an educated answer to that question...
