I plan to install my tweeters in the defrosters on the dash. they are the same size as the hole. I just need to remove a little material inside the hole to make them fit. My question is, what is the best way to run the wire throught the dash? If i drill straight down into the dash what will i find? Help me out. thanks in advance.

 

Any reason that you aren't using the stock location? I mean...putting them in the defrost, you'll have to plug the vents up before getting to the tweeters...exposing them to constant heat wouldn't be the best idea.

Honestly... I have no clue where you'd run wires in the dash...I'd be very careful about just randomly drilling...

 

I could see using them if you were going to fiberglass an aimed enclosure for them in the defrost vents....but other than that, +1 to Mandos

 

my tweeters are two big for factory location. They fit in the dash. I never use the heat in the defrosters. i live in florida.

I would probably try the sail panels before the defrosters.... what tweeters do you have?
