I currently own a 2005 silver tc, and was wondering what the be the best color combination? I was thinking either silver and blue or silver and red or even silver and yellow. I am leaning more towards blue due to the fact that I see a lot of silver and red.


What do you guys think?? What are your color combinations??

 

Yellow would hurt your eyes.

Can't really go wrong with red or blue as a secondary since they both compliment the silver quite well.

It's all up to your personal preference.

any other color combos out there anyone likes?? I really like black and gold, and blue and white!!

 

what are your plans?

 

i started off by adding the silver decals on the front and rear windshield and and debating on the color choice. I was really thinking red and silver, but i am having a hard time finding red parts, and the interior lighting kit doesn't come in red. I want to do the engine bay in either chrome or red/blue, but again I am having a hard time finding red and blue engine parts. Chrome is not a problem form what i am finding out.

 

any chance anyone might know where to get the engine components?

 

what "engine components" do you want...if you mean the engine cover and such, just pull it off and have a body shop paint it....

as for interior lights...you can use the same thing you would use in a computer. If you go to a computer parts place and look for the 12" tube lights, they work just the same....i have them in my car and they are, in my opinon, better than what comes from scion.

 

engine components such as

oil cap
radiator cap
clutch resovoir cap
brake cap
fuse panel cap
battery tie down
power steering cap
and so on, these are not just paintable items. But i want them in either red or blue!

 

why wouldnt those be paintable? some of those parts are plastic... just sand, prime, and paint. the metal ones you could probably paint the same way that you would paint automotive paneling.

 

all of those things are painted...i have my battery tie down painted....fuse box painted...i just havnt got around to doin all my caps..i'd post pictures but photobucket is down for maintence right now..

so i take it that these parts are as not as easy to get in different colors like it was on my integra. d### it!!

 

like Tenzo makes all of the engine covers and components in different colors!

 

aem has the red battery tie down and red oil cap...fuse cap and others are paintable and will last if done right. The hotchkis front strut is red...just to make it short look under the hood of an RS1.0.

 

cool that helps some! the trd brace is also red, right?

 

all those red accessories in the RS1.0 are exclusive to it.. the aem oil cap and battery tiedown as well as the hotchki's bar is normally silver.

but yes.. the TRD strut bar is red.
