Default interior paint Q

Would it be alright to use engine temp paint and primer for the interior pieces? Its just what I have at my house atm no plastic paint.

my friend painted the dashboard of his cougar with a high heat paint. it had ceramic in it and it didn't work well with the plastic. as soon as it started to dry, it crinkled up and was chipping.
