Default iPod2car with video nano help

I have an iPod2car (mobel PXDP with PXHTY3 cable) plugged into my 2005 Scion tC (with stock headunit). It worked flawlessly with my 60GB iPod video. I recently purchased a new iPod nano (the one with video).

I am having difficulty getting the iPod2car adapter to work properly with my new iPod nano. Everything works fine except the iPod scroll wheel does not seem to function while the iPod nano is plugged into the iPod2car. Play, stop, forward, reverse, and menu buttons all work properly but the wheel will not scroll. I cannot scroll through the menus or scroll through songs. It has made the iPod difficult to use while plugged in. I must unplug the iPod from the iPod2car if I want to change to a specific song or scroll through the menu.

Any recommendations for a solution to this problem? Thanks

Do you still have, or did you ever have, an owners manual for the ipod2car? Maybe it was designed for the regular ipod only. I know that the nano uses some different technology as far as memory and storage goes, but I am not sure about the programming of the nano itself.

Can you call the ipod2car manufacture?
