Issue with my sound system
I installed my 2 10" jbl subs with a sound ordnance amp and kenwood head unit a month or two ago and I am having a problem with it powering on. Sometimes when I turn my car on, my system wont power up until I go to the engine bay and pull the fuse and put it back in, then it works fine for anywhere from 2 starts that same day or 2 weeks. Thanks for the help

That's odd. So nothing but pulling the fuse and replacing it?
Tried new fuse or fuse holder? I'd be interested to see if your getting 12v at the amp with car on and stereo playing and voltage on the amp turn on wire when its not wanting to turn on.
If its not getting 12v on your power wire while using your ground wire as the ground for the volt meter I'd say bad fuse holder/fuse. No voltage on amp turn on then there's an issue with that wire or the radio. Check to make sure that your ground is good. Free of rust and paint too. Just to cover the bases.
Also check to see if the amp turn on is wired to the correct wire in the head unit harness.

Well I know that the amp power wire is in the right spot (ive triple checked lol) and by my system i mean my head unit and all wont power up. and my grounds were cleaned of all paint soo those are all good so other than the possible power issue any other ideas?

Well if head unit doesn't power on, it won't send signal to amp to power on. So I'd say that your "switched" power wire (usually red in an aftermarket harness) isn't telling your head unit to turn on
If I'm reading your reply right
Guess it could also be the constant power wire in the harness too. Did you use an actual harness that plugs into the factory plugs fir the radio or did you cut directly into the cars harness wires?
