if people in america just had some respect for people who want to pass im sure their whould be a steep decline of highway accidents. However when most Americans see a car approaching behind them in the left lane and they get flashed they resist to move, make hand movements (usually with one finger), sometimes hit the brake, it is very rare that a person will show respect and just politley move over.

They should start having a manditory 2 hour corse or something on this just to freshen up on peoples driving skills.

It's not just the moving part. . . it's everything. We have, by far, some of the worst drivers in this country. Yes, in other countries, they drive CRAZY. But over here, it's not a matter of controlled risks. It's a matter of inattentativeness and distraction. . . which IMO is far more dangerous. And then the aggressive drivers here usually lack the driving skill (and experience) to do so.

The autobahn has no where near the diverse culture of people driving

Although I agree with you, I didn't bring that up. It's a testy subject and borders on racist. But yes, I do agree with you.

However, almost every country in the world has stricter driver's license requirements. Furthermore, you are more accountable for accidents, as most people don't have insurance and can't afford to have repairs done. Even if repairs are made, they are no where near as reliable as the shops in the US. The fact that your car can be repaired to near 100%, here in the US, takes away all accountability.

Therefore, those who drive fast, do so because they are experienced enough to. Those who suck and driving. . . don't.
