Default just installed 07 seats into my 06 tc, seat sensor Q?

my air bag light is on in my car after switching out stock seats for rs 3.0 seats. along the way we had to change the passenger seatbelt clip because they changed it on 07s, but my stock seats had airbags in them and the new ones dont, the clips for the airbags were also changed. i figured out how to fix the airbags, but im not sure that the seats are registering someone sitting in them, the driver seatbelt light is blinking whether or not someone is sitting in it. the passenger light is the complete opposite, it doesnt light up when a passenger sits in the seat, the sensors are different between the years and so are the connecters, so what do i need to do to make sure the seats are registering a driver and passenger? id greatly appriciate any help, as id like to get this taken care of asap.

IN your stock seat is a sensor........looks like a big x circuit board that is stuck to the seat foam.carefully remove it and install it to the new seat and plug the harness back into it.That will remove the dash light and allow them to register that someone is in the seat.

it is inthe pasenger for the passenger seat.If you unhook the small hog rings at the bottom edge of the back of the seat you can follow the wires up into the seat itself.the flexable sensor is stuck to the seat cushon and comes off very easy.just install it in the new seat and plug it back into the wires coming out of the floor.

You will see once you get it out what I meen......very easy to get out for the most part, but take your time so you do not rip it,it is fairly tough to get your hand in there but other than that it is not too hard to get out.

interesting, i may have to find a seat at a junk yard, as i did a swap on the seats, is there any other way to do it? to make the system think there is always someone there? like the airbag trick? now that i think about it, there is only one plug coming out, and thats the one that i am doing the resistor in. so will that make it think there is someone always there? killing two birds with one resistor?

no that will not work as there is a yellow plug coming from floor to seat for air bag and should also be a black or blue plug for the sensor for the seat.

does the new seat havea any plugs coming out of it.if not they probably pulled it out before trading for what ever reason.

no, my car only has the seat belt plug, and the yellow plug for the air bag, the driver seat has 3, one for the air bag (yellow) one big round white one, and the seat belt plug.
