Today, my car was broken into while i was eating lunch with my girlfriend in what we thought to be a relatively safe neighborhood. The thief couldnt steal the radio so he smashed my Pioneer AVIC-U310BT touchscreen. he also bent all the OEM mounting brackets and broke the dash trim kit brackets as well as the waterfall mounting brackets. oh well, bad luck...
any people near the Sacramento, California area (Elk Grove area specifically) should be more careful...just a warning for anyone in that area, and a reminder that some people just love to ruin other's happiness.

don't worry about it. the guy it's gonna buy some drugs and he doesn't know he is buying his death. nobody it's gonna cry his death and here in SL will continue to support our fellow members.
That's the bright side of the story. don't worry be happy :D

the fastest way to break into a car would be to break the window and open the door.
and yeah, with twisted and warped brackets from that noobs failed attempt to steal, i now have to go to the dealer to buy new ones...

unfortunately i dont have an alarm system. never thought it would be necessary, still dont to be honest. but yeah, im over it now. its an unfortunate setback but i think ill just put the stock radio back on permanently...at least until my next car hahah
Honestly contact your insurance company thats what they're there for. They will cut you a check more than likely to replace what was damaged and as long as you have full coverage they will replace the headunit too.
