you will most likely need to drill holes in mounting brackets for it to fit and need pac swi kit if u want steering wheel controls.

i have the ddx 6019 but i didnt install it. the door does close just like it did with oem radio. and as for the steering wheel controls, the "track back/ repeat" button does not work(all others do)

all in all im real happy with it...good luck on your install

all you need to do is swap over your factory radio brackets... you can position these many ways so be careful you get them identical.. if you set it back a little bit you should be just fine with the door...

u need only to drill out the indentions that are on the factory brackets. u will only put 2 screws (4total) into each side of the radio (thru brackets) i have the ddx7019 which is pretty much identical install and i re-used the metra side trim to fill the gaps. it works great. u will need to dremel off the washers from the factory screws to get the screw head to fit with the metra gap-trim. i used a cutting wheel and notched the washer (watch out for the threads!) then i used some needlenose and vise grips to tear the washer off. dont try to unscrew the washer from the screw, u will strip the threads (DOH!)

oh yeah, with the metra gap-trim, u will need to cut off two of the mounting arms, they are the ones that dont sit flush on the side of the stereo. also, i think the holes dont line up right with the two u cut off...

sidenote, the track back button kinda works with the kenwoods (pacswi) u will just have to hit it more than u are accustomed (that's what she said! heh heh). usually i hit it once or twice to the beginning of the song and then pause very briefly and hit it one more time....

good luck and pm me if u need any more pointers
