Key lock feature don't work

As said in the title. the lock button on my key won;t function the unlock button works. yet when i try to lock the car it does nothing help please thank you

Does it look like the FOB is damaged or worn out? Could just be really used and the mechanics of it are shot.

Have you tried to open it up and take a look? Tried to change the battery?

close all the doors...

oh.. yea.. the hatch is also considered a door... if you haven't checked that.

duh.

^^^ yeah ack154 is right, it might be that the key is shot. Take it apart and check out the internal mechanical connection from the key face to the actual module inside.
