Tryin' to find a good audio system for my Tc under ($150.00) and I'm not havin' much luck. I dont need anything fancy like a DVD player and 7" screen but I'd like a nice one that requires NO MODIFICATIONS. Add link please

What do you mean by "audio system"? I'm guessing that for $150, you must just be implying the head unit only? If so, it's possible to get something decent for that price, but the selection might be considered somewhat small. What do you mean by "NO Modifications"? Must it be a double-DIN like stock, must you retain the steering wheel controls, or were you implying something else? I don't think a double-DIN that would work with the wheel controls exists within your budget. Any particular brand you prefer? Plan on expanding the system later using outboard amps, or will you be running all the speakers off the HU's power?

 

I just want the head unit ( I plan on keeping everthing else stock) no mods meaning no cutting into dash (plug and play is basicly what I'm looking for) I just HATE the stock head.

 

anyone else trying to figure out how a 14 year old is modding 'his' tC?


The closest you'll get to plug and play (for 150) is a dash kit and a harness and a $100 deck. Stick with the stock.

 

my HU i bought 2 years ago was 169, and thats a piece compared to ____ these days lol

 

Ya for that price your beter off to keep the stock headunit which is pretty nice to begin because it is a pioneer peice. Trust me I sell and install car audio for a living.

save some more money for a better headunit, $150 isn't really going to go that far.

 

150 bux for a HU is like sayin my budget for a turbo is 1000......dude please save up like we all do....if you cant afford something dont get it all.....there is a spanish sayin which goes...."lo barato sale caro"......if u dont understand it ima let you research it......latas
