Default LED's not working now! :(

So I got some surface mount LED's to change the color from orange to blue & white for my car's interior lights. So I took out the volume control/track up and down/mode control on the steering wheel and very gently disassembled it to practice on and to see how it looked before I did the tach or HVAC. I had my friend who is very good with soldering take out the far right LED (far right in comparision to the place where the power clips in/above the resistor or diode) and solder in my new blue surface mount LED. I know I have all the right parts so thats no problem, but now for some reason even thought I took our just one LED and replaced it, the other two LED's dont light up. Any ideas? Thanks for any help!

Yes all in the right direction, but I only replaced one so why don't the other two which I never touched not light up?

they are indeed in series...
if one doesn't light up.. all 3 won't...

and considering the one he touched was the one that was messed with... i'm thinking it's because he didn't do that one correctly.

De soldered the one LED and re-did it as best as we could and it worked! Looks great and can't wait to finish the rest. Thanks for the help Squall!!!
