If you cant get the actuall tC font, I think just lines wouldn't look too bad. 4 lines going all the way across.

it couldn't be too hard to get pretty close. closer than these at least.

btw, I like them, for prototypes. I think you're headed in the right direction, ninja.

I can't wait to see the second batch. Any idea when you'll get to see them?

They NEED LED lighting. They look great lit-up, but the acryllic makes them the color all the time and that's not what most of us want I don't think. I think most of us want a door sill that looks like the Scion enhancement (read: normal, plain) when unlit but then lights up a color.

They could just as easily use EL lighting, be white when off and light up whatever color they're supposed to. The color would be more uniform that way, because I'm skurred that the LEDs will look like separate lights. LEDs sometimes get too much credit as the be-all, end-all lighting solution... and sometimes they're just not. But I'm just waiting patiently to see how they turn out.

depends on the shade. it doesn't have to be that typical blue-green like everyone is used to on watches. you could get it in a nice blue or green, but it would be red that wouldn't work so well. EL does have its advantages though.

that ups the price alot too and makes production slower cause stainless steel is harder to cut then aluminum and also using led or el lighint will make the height of the door sills bigger. using el lighting... we would need more then one and that cost goes by length so itd def up price

yeah, I figured EL would cost more, especially for the length that would be needed. I just figured it's thinner, and has a nice even glow. I'm just trying to imagine how you could light these up with LEDs without the light looking 'spotty'.

don't mind me though, I'm just thinking out loud, and making conversation to pass the time!
