ok i am looking to put some kind of lights under my dash. should i go with LED or Neons. which is better, and which is brighter. which will like up the floor more? thanks please help

 

neons use alot of power and are pretty obsolete.

i am a led guy.. (obvious to most people)..
but cold cathodes throw out some good light as well.

 

i prefer cathodes for their even light dispursement as compared to LED's, but LED bars allow you do to patterns and such

 

LEDs use much less energy. They last longer and won't break like neon tubs. LED strips are easy to install, it's just double sided tape and a few wires. LEDs look a lot brighter to me and the also give and even light dispursement...

There is a reason why auto places are starting to stop selling the neon tubs.. The LED strips are better in every category and cost the same (sometimes less)...
