sorry for the misfortune bro. my window got broken into a few months back and it was not a good experience. did they try to break your ignition? it looks a little bigger than normal Oh, by the way, remember to replace your window with OEM glass, the aftermarket stuff does not fit. I had to learn this the hard way and waste 3 weeks of my time.

 

What do you mean it doesnt fit? Because the glass place beside my house has one in stock. no they didnt get the ignition I dont think

 

Nothing really beats orig. parts....esp. on glass/windows. The cheap ones are generic replicas often made-in-china/Taiwan-----hence the cheap price. They may or may not fit but who knows how safe cheap replacement parts are.....

Oh yeah, the new Avic F series' pretty sweet! I'd love to get one soon too.

 

well the company is safe lite and the glass is 201 installed does anyone know how much the oem glass is?

 

yea well if you get if from the dealership it usually runs about that price depending on what window it is. I had my small little window broken into on my srt 4 man that Crap was 300 bucks. funny story they could steal my subs. i guess they were too heavy for them. lol SECRET i had the reinforced with the chasis.

yes the radio door was down and now its permanetly down cause they broke it it wont open now lol. once I get the estimate tomorrow and get glass put in it I am going to so if the radio will still work and the if it does I might try to find a broken one online somewhere and fix it.

yeah, if you have full coverage, and it was permanantly installed after all...

as for a girl ripping and smashing... my ex punched my old flipout in my old turbo SL2, i promptly put her head through the passenger window and kicked her out at the nearest hospital, havent heard from her since... and my insurance replaced the window AND my flip. you just gotta know how to work the system dude.

That is who I used. The glass does not fit at all, it put strain on my window motor and had a HUGE gap when rolled up where the rubber flashing is suppose to meet the glass. In return, water will go straight down into the inside of your door, rather than bead off to the exterior. Trust me, you will kick yourself in the butt when it doesn't fit. I got mine replace free of charge with OEM so i only payed 200 for it (price of the aftermarket glass). OEM is a bit more i believe. Call safelite, they will give you a quote.
