Default A little help from the electronic/lighting gurus?

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this and if it's not, please move to the right place.

Ok, I'm trying to figure out what the best way would be to run light thru a sheet of plexiglass. I'm using a 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick, 3'x3' piece. I was thining either fiber optic wrapped around the edge with a light source attached, but not sure if that would work.

Any ideas?

If I find a picture similar to what I'm trying to do, I'll post it.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks!

Those look great! Wish I had the CNC router. I like the LED idea. Any ideas/suggestion on how to do the wiring for a vehicle application? I was thinking of using a AAA (1.5V) battery. Any thoughts?

Just tap off the 12v power with 12v LED's.... it will work just fine for you if you base your idea off the above links...

I never had any luck with the el wire around the edges or anything... the LED's and etching work the best....

Just use 12v and add a resistor. If you need help figuring out what resistor to use goto: http://www.metku.net/index.html?sect...calc/index_eng
