So, this issue seems to have happened following some speaker work I had done on the front passenger side door, but may not be related. For the past 4-5 months, neither my driver nor my passenger side lock/unlock buttons work. Once in a while, at random, they will respond to these buttons but only briefly.
Note that my keyfob lock/unlock works fine. Also, not sure if this is stock or not, but when I start my car, the locks are meant to lock- which they still do as well as the reverse when turning it off. The motors and actuators appear fine- it’s just the buttons.

Any guidance on where to begin troubleshooting?
