Default lol, I just got PWNED!!! By SuperBrightLEDS.com!!!!(F WORD!)

Ok, I have the fancy little BLUE LEDs for my parking light, just like every other person on here, lol. Well my left one went out after 3 months, so i'm like damn, they cant all be winners.

SO I sent it in an envelope marked WARRANY and a copy of my INVOICE. So far, so good!!

3 days later I got a Email saying, "We are concerned why the bulbs when out, please tell us the application you are using it for".
So, I told them that I used them as parking lights, and they are ONLY on when I want them too, I do not use them during the day.

Next day, here is the EMAIL: "Using the LED bulbs in a headlight housing Voids the warranty, this is stated on our web site and on the packaging.
Thank You,
XXXXXX"

Well, i'm not much of a reader, but I did not see this anywhere on the very unorganized website.

So now after 3 months of fun little lights and $16 out my wallet, I am left with one working light!!....i'm back to stock (F'ing S-word)

HOLLLA,
--Jeff S.

Lol.. yeah.. that happened to me too. All those LED running lights are BS, and will burn out very quickly. Mine only lasted like a month and a half.. after wasting enough money buying replacement bulbs I said F - it too, and went back to the stock running lights. I wish there was an LED bulb I could use for running lights that wouldn't burn out so ridiculously fast.

lmao, well guess what I just found on the site:
"Warranty Information
Do not use LED bulbs in the same housing with head lamps, the heat will cause them to fail quickly and void the warranty.
"

I'm still F'n ____ed though.

I would check this out READ things if necessary.. Because if it doesnt say that then they screwed you. If it doesnt infact say anywhere that this is the case then they arent saying its the case to get you to buy some more..

If you really dont care then forget about and go on with life...

This is why I agonize over every purchase I make. I want to make sure it is tried and tested before I go through with the purchase. If something breaks, I want to make sure it is covered. But above all, I want to make sure it won't break by making sure others have used it successfully.

that sucks.. I got some bulbs from autozone (not sure if they are LEDs or not) for about $5.. I've had them installed for about 1 year and 1 month, never had a problem. They're pretty bright too.

ya i dont think there LEDs though. But I know what your saying, i had those on for a minute, but I wanted something brighter.

And I dont think I'm whining, I got the 6 LED bulbs which costs just a lil more, then you got tax and shipping. I'd scan the invoice, but we are in the mist of moving. Plus, I had to spend $0.50 to send it back.

Thats why I said PWNED, and not SCREWED, cause partly it was my own damn fault.
I just dont like the way the email was sent, it felt like a big "F YOU""NA NA NA". LOL.

A lot of people have had this problem. It does state clearly on their website which LEDs are not to be used in the headlight housings... I recall seeing it the first time I was on their website...

Just go to AutoZone and get the Blazer Xtreme Lites in Blue. (I'm sure you know the bulb # already.) I've had mine (green) in for 9 months with no problems. They may not be as bright as you had hoped, but for $2.99 you can't beat it.

that's the same brand I have also.. not 1 problem with them in over a year. I think they're pretty damn bright too.
